One day, their lawyer tries to trick them out of a fortune by introducing their long-lost uncle, who is in fact the son of one of his creditors. Intelligent script, excellent performances, a funny homage to the TV series. Sonnenfeld's directorial debut after photographing some films for the Coen brothers. Followed by ADDAMS FAMILY VALUES in 1993 and a TV sequel in 1998.
