Third sequel to THE PINK PANTHER (and fifth Clouseau film), has the bumbling inspector battle the former chief-of-police Lom, who has gone mad and is threatening the world with a super-weapon. Suffers from mild plot and unfunny stretches, but some hilarious moments make this worthwhile. Lom provides a nice caricature of the usual Bond villain. Followed by REVENGE OF THE PINK PANTHER (1978).
