Ordinary revenge drama chronicles Lanvin's attempts to revenge the murder of his fiancée Jannot. In flashbacks we are told how they met and fell in love, but film is pointless and much too predictable despite being solidly filmed (even nominated for some Césars). Dedicated to the memory of Jean Gabin - for whatever reason.
