Kid Smith moves to China with his mom, cannot come to grips with new situation. What's more, he is bullied by some other kids. Janitor Chan agrees to teach him kung fu. Basically a story well-told, never boring. Nice portrayal of everyday life in China. Chan only gets to fight some teenagers... too bad! Score by James Horner, photographed by Roger Pratt.
