The N.Y.C. zoo animals want to leave Madagascar but their plane crashes in the African wilderness, where Alex the lion finds his long-lost family and must contend against evil relative, who wants to be king himself. Rather silly, saved by some good animation and funny scenes. Bernie Mac's last film.
