Thriller set a Japanese high school, where a girl has just committed suicide and some students want to stage her last play. Then a killer starts stalking them. Poorly paced and timed film makes some interesting reference to slasher movies, especially Italian ones, but romantic, TV-movie-style touch pretty much ruins it. Based on a novel by Jirô Akagawa. International title SCHOOL DAY OF THE DEAD is terribly misleading.
