Pretty good Bond imitation from experienced director Thomas (HOT ENOUGH FOR JUNE). Johnson comes pretty close to Sean Connery as Bulldog Drummond, a gentleman spy (originally a character from a 1930s/1940s film series). He must stop sexy but lethal duo of Sommer and Koscina, who want to kill a King from the Near East to complete an oil deal. Good-looking 60s fodder, a bit too talky compared to the James Bond movies of the time, though Sommer and Koscina are would have made great Bond girl. Cowritten by Jimmy Sangster.
