Weak heist movie set in South America with beautiful Cardinale, a dancer, arriving at a small village to entertain the miners, when as a matter of fact she is part of a plan to rob some diamonds. Interesting location work, but plot is a yawn. Charrière's only acting credit, he also cowrote the screenplay with director Herman. Alternative titles: THE BUTTERFLY AFFAIR, THE 21 CARAT SNATCH, QUEEN OF DIAMONDS, and THE GREAT DIAMOND CHASE.
