Bombastic anime is a remake of a 1996 television series that had 26 episodes. A suicidal school girl is transported into a fantasy world, where she is told to be the Wing Goddess, who alone can defeat Lord Vulcan. Story drowns in typical Anime style and is difficult to access, some of the animation is impressive. Fans of the original series may find this most intriguing. Also known as ESCAFLOWNE: THE MOVIE.
