Starring Anotnio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Johnny Depp, Mickey Rourke, Eva Mendes, Danny Trejo, Enrique Iglesias, Cheech Marin, Rubén Blades, Willem Dafoe, Gerardo Vigil, Pedro Armendáriz Jr., Tito Larriva. Pointless sequel to EL MARIACHI (1992) and DESPERADO (1995) features guitar player / assassin Banderas, who is hired by CIA agent Depp to kill old nemesis Vigil, after that man has killed the President. Over-indulgent, self-absorbed actioner is almost completely worthless, if it wasn't for some dynamite editing by Rodriguez himself. Completed in 2001 but shelved for obvious reasons.
