Director Polselli's follow-up to his interesting giallo DELIRIO CALDO (1972) is barely comprehensible indulgence about witchcraft and a religious cult. A group of American visitors to a castle are faced with inexplicable going-ons that may be caused by the burning of a witch 500 years ago. Plot is barely there, odd intercutting a meager replacement for photographic style. For only the most fervent followers of the eccentric Polselli, who also wrote and edited the picture.
