Where's Poppa? (1970, USA) C-82m. **½ D: Carl Reiner. Starring George Segal, Ruth Gordon, Trish Van Devere, Ron Leibman, Rae Allen, Vincent Gardenia, Joe Keyes, Tom Atkins, Rob Reiner, Paul Sorvino. Wacky satirical comedy with (a mild) cult status. Segal lives under the thrall of his senile mother who makes his life hell and keeps referring to long-dead 'Poppa'. He falls in love with nurse Van Devere, but there are complications ahead. Segal's performance is great, but film has too few laughs and is ultimately too slight.
