Chinese girl Mulan defends the honor of her crippled father by enlisting in the army to fight in the war against the terrible Huns. Plotting is not perfect, but dramatic scenes and hilarious situations (mostly springing from Mulan's mini-dragon Mushu) make this a satisfying view. Score by Jerry Goldsmith.
