Talkington. Black comedy thriller, very much in the vein of TRUE ROMANCE (1993). Bellows and Zellweger must run from police, creditors and a fellow gangster, when their latest robbery goes terribly wrong. Violence paves their way to Mexico. Well-acted, entertaining B-movie with an attitude and a cool soundtrack. Love that RAISING ARIZONA-like voice-over narration. Premiered at about the same time as PULP FICTION (1994), which may be a reason why this didn't get the attention it deserves. Written by director Talkington, who has a cameo as the tattoo artist.
