Movie raises countless questions and creates an eerie atmosphere. Writer-director Kelly has fashioned a confusing, much-discussed Lynchian story that requires multiple viewing. Astounding, if not completely satisfying, a cult hit. Countless references to other cult movies make it even more interesting for buffs. Barrymore also executive produced.
