It turns out that she is about to be killed in an experiment, and Elle decides she wants to fight against animal testing, even if it means losing her job at the law firm. Dressed in pink she conquers the congress. An utter contrivance in terms of plot, but swiftly paced and amusing. Witherspoon is smashing.
