Sequel to the above is an even more visceral (and forgettable) blood feast as half-vampire, half-human Snipes joins his original enemies to battle an army of mutateed bloodsuckers. Seems like a shoot'em-up videogame and has as much plot. Flashy and stylish, to be sure, which makes it attractive for its target audience. Difficult to believe that del Toro (CRONOS, MIMIC) agreed to direct this.
