Well-produced mythology mix about half-god Perseus (Hamlin), who must contend with goddess Thetis' anger against his father Zeus. On his quest he must defeat several monsters like Medusa or Cerberus to be reunited with Princess Andromeda. Not to be taken too seriously, but entertaining - when it's not talky. Some nice effects and the Medusa showdown make it worthwhile. Produced by special effects genius Ray Harryhausen, who retired after this. Remade in 2010.
