Atmospheric follow-up to the cult hit DONNIE DARKO (2001) about Donnie's sister Samantha (Chase) who drfits across the country with her friend Evigan. And guess what: The world is about to end, and it'll all happen in a small town in the middle of nowhere. Road movie fantasy has the original's touch, and with a good, hypnotic score manages to draw you in, although plot twists make little sense. A throwback to Twin Peaks days (which isn't all that bad).
