Sequel to THE BOURNE IDENTITY benefits from swifter pace and Greengrass' pulse-pounding direction. Damon, as the spy with the identity crisis, is hiding out with girlfriend Potente in India, but has to go on the run again when he is discovered. He learns he has been framed for a murder he didn't commit, investigates in Berlin and Moscow. The staccato editing makes this hectic at times, but plot is more satifying than in part one, even if it's still not compelling or clear enough. Followed by THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM (2007).
