Comedy drama about several characters, most with personal problems, who agree to meet in the title club, where they read a different Jane Austen novel every month. Movie tentatively examines links between the characters' real lives and the characters in the book, but non -Austen fans will feel excluded. Unexeceptional, seems to treat every character from the outside, not the inside.
