Good cast in intriguing thriller puzzle about down-on-his-luck Hartnett, who arrives in NYC and is mistaken for his friend whose apartment he is using. He becomes involved with two rivalling crime lords (Freeman, Kingsley) who force him to act on their behalves. Enter hitman Willis, who may also be working for both sides. Interesting thriller has some powerfully stylish moments and is well-plotted, even if it lacks conviction at times. Writer Jason Smilovic seems to be a movie buff.
