Charming tale from American suburbia about Brody, who discovers his penchant for ventriloquism, quits his job and tries to learn the art. Along the way he falls in love with his unemployment counsellor Farmiga. Jovovich is also fun as Brody's iconoclastic but aimless friend. Likable performances and warm-hearted script make this a winner. Written by the director.
