Tense action thriller about naïve driver Howell, who picks up psychopath Hauer from the street one night, finds himself in a cat-and-mouse game, as he cannot shake the maniac off. Hauer's performance - reminiscent of his role in BLADE RUNNER (1982) - is impressive, and the atmosphere oppressive. A thriller with cult appeal and fine photography by John Seale.
