Odd mixture of adventure, romance and western about guitar-wielding stranger (Mitchum), who signs up to work at a coppermine and falls in love (unconvincingly) with the sleazy owner's wife (Auger). Some awkwardly directed scenes (Sambrell is better-known for countless spaghetti western roles), poorly scripted, with some expected exploitation thrown in, but watchable. Truly 70s.
