Just when he's ready to take a break from work, famous comic book artist Fraser has an accident which puts him in a coma. He enters a strange dream world, from which only his creation, the mischievous chimp MonkeyBone manages to escape - using Fraser's body. Absolutely annoying fantasy comedy with painful gags. One of those children's (or: childish) movies that should be R-rated. Almost unwatchable, a major disappointment from the director of such instant classics as NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS (1993) and JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH (1996). Based on the graphic novel Dark Town.
