Quite good gothic chiller set at the time of witch burnings. Steele tries to persuade the count not to burn her mother, but he is only interested in seducing her. When she is also killed, she curses him. Her younger sister Zalewska is forced to marry the son, and then Steele returns from her grave… Uneven plot hampers proceedings considerably, though atmosphere is nice and score by Carlo Rustichelli (as Evirust) is excellent.
