Needlessly updated version of the children's tale by J.M. Barrie, about the boy who never grows up and his "normal" girlfriend Wendy, who battle the evil Captain Hook in Never-Never Land. There is hardly any charm in this effects-ridden kids' movie, where the kids seem to have lost their innocence already. But maybe this is what the new generation of children is looking for. Older viewers should prefer the 1953 Disney version or the numerous adaptations for TV.
