Slick comic-book adaptation features the title hero (Affleck), who is a lawyer by day and a vicious fighter for justice by night. After an accident as a child, which blinded him, his other senses are heightened. Well-directed, flashy fantasy thriller loses its verve in the mid-section and never recovers, also because of rather dull story about bad guys Farrell and Duncan. Good cast can't be faulted. Written by the director and executive produced by the comic's creator Stan Lee, who has a cameo.
